HI,
Here are some MSU BBA tests preparation tips :-
There are 4 sections - English, Mathematics, Gk, and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning.
If you're an average student then I believe there's no need to join a coaching institute for the entrance. Although, if you think you do need extra help and you're not clear with your basic concepts then you may join one. A coaching institute can also help you with the further rounds of selection: creative writing, Group discussion and personal interview.
You can find a lot of relevant books, pfds, video lessons online that can help you in your preparation. For mathematics Quantitative Aptitude by Abhijeet Guha is a good book or any competitive book would suffice, practice speed maths and work on concepts. For English, build your vocabulary and practice chapters according to the syllabus of the exam, for GK be updated with the current affairs of the current year and the previous 2/3 years also work on your static Gk, for DI&LR section you can solve different sums you can find online or buy an aptitude book, practice is the only way to ace this section.
The difficulty level of the exam is moderate and you can easily crack it with good preparation. But it is recommended to have other colleges as backup option as well.
Hope this helps.
All the best
