Hello

Top books which you can go for your chemistry Neet preparation are listed below:-

  • NCERT Chemistry textbooks for Class XI and XII :- Ncert chemistry is really good for Neet,  you should go through all the solved examples, intext questions and exercise questions as well
  • Physical Chemistry by OP Tandon :- Best for practising and mastering numericals in physical chemistry
  • MS Chauhan (Organic) : - It is a great book to clear all your concepts regarding reactions in organic, there mechanism etc

Now , your whole chemistry is divided into three parts physical chemistry ,organic chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry

  • For physical chemistry first of all go through the chapter then make a list of all the formulas and important concepts in the chapter then go through the solved numericals to understand how the concepts learnt are applied to solve them and then go for unsolved questions
  • In inorganic chemistry, you basically have to  memorize things, show the best thing is read the chapter from NCERT and keep revising it at regular intervals , and practice lots of MCQs to increase your memory power after each chapter
  • For organic chemistry ,  you don't need to directly mug up reaction to first understand them, what you need to do is first go through the reaction and then go through it mechanism as well which will help you to understand how the reaction proceeds and then write two- three times the reaction and its mechanism on your own and then practice some questions on the same reaction and you need to follow this process for every reaction in organic and soon you will be good at organic.

Thankyou

Chemistry is divided into Inorganic, Physical and Organic chemistry. For inorganic chemistry, you must refer to the NCERT.Coordination points get 9% of weightage. Thermodynamics takes the 8% and Equilibrium takes the 6% weightage slots respectively. Chemical Bonding and Organic structure carries the 5% weightage slot and rest of the topics carry 2-3% weightage in the exam paper.Chemical Bonding, Molecular structure, Solutions, Block Elements, Alcholos, Phenols and Ehters. Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic acids are important topics. Organic comprises of many reactions and reagents which can be practised by writing over and over again. Physical chemistry requires a comparatively deeper understanding of concepts, so preparing with the NCERT and referring to study material a level higher than NCERT should be the way to go. You can try preparing from these books:

NCERT Chemistry textbooks for Class XI and XII
Physical Chemistry by OP Tandon
ABC of Chemistry for Classes 11 and 12 by Modern
Concise Inorganic Chemistry by JD Lee
Dinesh Chemistry Guide
Practise books by VK Jaiswal, MS Chauhan and N Awasthi

Or if you can try our NEET knockout package which preparation material for all Physics, Chemistry and Biology. https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/.

To prepare for Neet Chemistry, first go through entire syllabus. Then make a proper routine. Now almost one month is left for Neet. And if you are done with physical and inorganic part, then you should totally focus on Organic Chemistry. NCERT Textbooks are extremely good to have a clear conception and many questions in neet are based on NCERT. Other books you can follow- Pradeeps Piblications, Organic chemistry by DK Singh. You can check the weighatge of the chapters and focus on mote important chapters for the final time. Coordination Compounds- 9%, p-Block, d- and f-Block Elements- 9%, Thermodynamics- 8%, Equilibrium -6%, Chemical bonding and molecular structure-5%, Solutions- 5%, Organic Chemistry: Basic Principles & Techniques- 4%, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers -4%, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids-4%. For organic chemistry, you need to understand the logic and nomenclature first. If you can get the logic then it will not be difficult any more. Then rewriting the equations you can get a grip on them. Organic chemistry by OP Tandon is recommended by many experts.
