In phase 1, WAT is conducted in pen paper mode. WAT topics are usually selected at random and are mostly abstract in nature.

For GDPI, keep yourself abreast on latest news, current affairs with a focus on insurance domain. For idea generation you can use mnemonics such as PESTLE (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Logical Environmental) or keyword approach.
