how to prepare for ICAR Ug exam to get 400+ marks as my physics is not that strong!!!
Hi,
The difficulty level of ICAR Exam is not that much, if you can score 70-75% in CBSE BOARD then i think that you can easily get through it. The best thing is that you should solve last 5 years questions paper and you will get to know that it's not that tough. The best thing about icar that if you are from agriculture branch (if you have agriculture subject in 12th) then the questions are too easy and even if you are not from agriculture branch then even you can solve 8–10 questions, it's that the best thing if you want to clear the exam then your 12th should be good and concepts should be clear and second thing is that you should start solving last year question papers if you can then try last 10year questions paper. If you have less time then at least last 5years questions paper.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
Hi Akanksha!
ICAR is not as tough as JEE or NEET. First of all, I would suggest you to check out the latest exam syllabus and then prepare a schedule/deadline for each topic and stick to it! Once you are done with your syllabus, move on to the previous year question papers and try to solve them within the time. Later, check out the questions which you answered wrong and revise/learn those topics more positively. This way you will get to understand the pattern of the question paper and as well as your weak pints so that you might improve them.
Also, if you are an average student and can score 70-75% in CBSE boards easliy then it is nit difficult fo ryou to clear the exam and score good marks.
For physics, you might need to focus more. You can get help by the books suggested by NTA:
- A collection of questions and Problems in Physics (L.A. Sena)
- HC Verma for PHysics (both parts)
- IE Irodov (if possible, otherwise you can skip this book).
- DC Panday for Physics
Thankyou!
