Organic Chemistry
Considering you are giving JEE Advanced 2015, you do not have enough time but for those who are going to give the exam in later years should study Morrison & Boyd. It is a wonderful piece of writing and it will really make Organic look interesting to you. So much of conceptual clarity and a wonderful explanation makes it a must read. Though there are a few things which are not required but I will still consider reading it completely as it will fill voids in your overall concepts and thinking.
O.P Tandon is also really good. So ideally Organic should be done by studying both the books.
If you are going to classes, no doubt you should obviously maintain good notes(If you haven't still realized the importance of good notes towards the end, i am telling you now, it's IMPORTANT!) and refer it for revision.
Inorganic Chemistry
J.D. Lee and O.P. Tandon are the best. But confirm it once again that they error-free. This is the section where you have to memorize a lot. There are small small tricks to solving chemical equations which a normal student from any coaching centre would know. They sometimes help to memorize equations.(As in you would be able to predict the results without remembering them but this can not always be a good idea because questions in IIT comes twisted.)
Physical Chemistry
O.P. Tandon and R.C. Mukherjee should be more than enough. Also you need not to solve every question from R.C. Mukherjee and you can safely skip complex problems as questions in IIT aren't very tough. Practice is the key here.
This is just the bare minimum preparation. Other must-have books are R.K. Gupta series and Pradeep series.(Read it as one of the both.)
NCERT books are a bliss. Go and study them as well.
The most important part about both JEE Main & JEE Advanced is not how much syllabus you have covered, instead of how well you have mastered the topics in all three subjects Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
Your revision plan has to be very strong. The best way of revising now is by taking several tests. This helps you in two ways. Firstly you are doing a new question (since doing questions which you have already done before, won’t help much unless they have some specific importance). Secondly, you are doing it under a time limit. This is very important. Your endeavor is not just to solve the question but also to score your maximum possible marks in that test. So when you do questions under a time limit you realize your speed, accuracy, ability to think, level of stress within a set time and ability to let go of questions that may take a lot of time to solve (but would eventually get solved) and do more of those that may get done faster.
All The Very Best and Good Luck :)

Hi Aakash. I have to truly say that the scope of the question you have asked is so vast that even 6000 words aren't enough to write an answer. Anyways I hope this answer will help you.
As for the boards, I would advice you to thoroughly read NCERT textbooks. And to practice the old question papers. Note that at least one to two questions will come from the old papers in a similar fashion. Other than the following, depending on the standards of the marks that you want to achieve, allocate enough time for each subject accordingly. An indepth analysis of Computer Science may help you in Engineering. English is totally in your hands. And the additional subject.
As regarding JEE Advanced, seeing that you have jumped up from Mains, I take it for granted that you are confident that you will clear Mains. Now, note that Mains and Advanced are two totally different pieces of cake altogether. Advanced requires a thorough indepth understanding of all the concepts.
This basically depends on how you went through your preparation, how dedicated you were in your preparation. I would presently advice you to give the Mock Tests of FIITJEE, Aakash, Resonance, Allen, etc. And keep on reviewing the concepts in all subjects.
All the best!
Hello,
As the JEE Exam and Board Exams both has same importance you should not give importance to a single exam only
You must take help from the tips i am specially providing for you
Make a fixed schedule considering both the JEE and Boards preparation timings
Daily solve a sample paper to prepare for Boards
Paste important formulas of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics on the Table to revise daily these formulas are very important for both JEE and Board Exams
Ask your teacher if you get any doubt
As the JEE Exam approach focus only on the Board Exam and while preparing for JEE focus only on JEE Exams
As you will get one and half month after JEE Main exam you will get enough time to prepare for the JEE Advanced Exam
Focus on the Key topics during the last months, do not revise the whole syllabus you must focus only on the important topics to be prepared
One thing you need to do is Mark up the important Questions, Derivations and Concepts to be revise at the time of Exams
Check out the JEE Advanced Registration dates and Notification
Hi Aakash,
Prepare board exams by doing practising of derivations as well as theory.
And for JEE Advance do all the DPP's of your respective coaching.
Thanks
hey aakash the question asked by you phenonomical. As for the board exams are considered then you have to go through the CBSE text books. That's enough for BOARDS.
