hi,

Studying without a deadline isn’t something that aspirants can afford now, therefore you must assign your days to certain topics and finish them within the deadline.

It is a must for candidates to remain focused. Having too many resources will only alleviate the stress. Therefore, research well and shortlist some resources for your study plan and stick to it. Remember, you can’t cover everything from everywhere, therefore keep it simple and accurate.

Don’t keep revision for the last minute. Keep revision sessions for regular intervals. Make some crisp notes for the last minute reading and avoid unnecessary panic before the exam.

This has been repeated several times but only because it is highly significant to maintain a healthy lifestyle if one needs to keep her/ his productivity at the peak. Sleep for 6- 7 hours, and on time. Stay hydrated and take breaks at intervals. We know binge watching tv shows and social media can be tempting but you’ve a goal for the next few months and like everything in the world, it comes at a cost.

It is only through mock tests that one can identify his strengths and weaknesses, so take up mock tests at least twice a weak and increase the frequency if you feel like time management and accuracy needs to be worked upon. Mock test will lead to the formulation of accurate exam day strategies.

Focus on group study   for  discussing your doubts and good questions in beginning phase. Give mocks and analyse them  properly. Last but not least have faith on  yourself.

Hello aspirant!!
  • Here are some tips to crack JEE Main Exam:
  • Divide your study hours into small sessions. Take a break of five-ten minutes after every session.
  • Study during hours when you feel productive. Each student has his or her own method of studying. So figure yours out and use it effectively.
  • Calculate and divide your study hours as per the topics, efforts needed. The tougher topics will need more time as compared to easy ones.
  • Make a practical study plan that you can follow easily. Making a plan that is not doable is a big NO.
  • Last but not the least, set a target score for yourself to achieve.
  • All your study would be of no use if you wont remember what you studied. In order to recollect whatever you studied, revision is a necessary step.
  • Solving JEE Main previous year question papers is also a good practice as it allows you to know the type of questions asked in the exam.
  • Take as many tests as possible. It is not necessary for the test to be full-length. You can take chapter-wise tests within a limited amount of time.
  • Time your practice tests so that you develop the exam day strategy well.
  • Ensure you have proper sleep of 7-8 hours. Compromising on sleep will affect your power to concentrate and retain what youve learnt.

All the best

Hi Aspirant,

Go through the following process to prepare for JEE mains.

  • NCERT Books: Well even if you think you have studied well for boards and you are clear with your concepts, you need to read the NCERT books again. See having a fresh base and a strong grip on concepts is always going to help you, when you start preparing at the JEE level.
  • Question banks: Of course you need some books after reading your NCERT books for reaching the JEE level. So these are the books which i used and i recommend.

    • Math: Arihant and Cengage Publication, KC Sinha, ML Khanna
    • Physics: NCERT, Resnick Halliday, HC Verma, DC Pandey
    • Chemistry: NCERT, NCERT exemplar
  • Previous year papers: After you have completely solved all these books, it’s best if you can start solving the previous year paper. You have already got a lot stronger at your concepts and question solving without noticing. So it will be best if you can get familiar with some questions that have been asked previously.
  • Mock tests: After solving the previous year papers, you need to solve some mock tests to get a practice of a lot of questions before the exam. So solve as many mock tests as possible.

Thank you.
