Hello Aspirant,

If you wish to do Bachelor's in Merchant Navy courses then following is the eligibility criteria

12 th science with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as compulsory subjects

Minimum passing at 60%

Minimum age required is 17 to 25 years of age

  • For technical courses you have to entrance exams like IMU CET, JEE ADVANCED, TMI SAT, MERI ENTRANCE EXAM.
  • You can also join from sponsorship through mari time institutes
  • You can take admission through Lateral entry i.e after completion of first year engineering in mechanical or electrical with min 60% OR diploma in electrical, mechanical, marine or ship building engineering with min 60%

Medical fitness is also important criteria
