Hello Shraddha,
Greetings!

With the exam date approaching, there is bound to be some nervousness and anxiety. It becomes easier to loose clam during such situations. It goes without saying that the syllabus is very vast and it is impossible to cover each and every topic at this point of time. However, even during such a scenario, one can continue the preparation through the mock tests.

One of the easiest way out of this situation is to take section specific mock tests. There are many test series which provide mock tests for the sections individually. Focus on the completion of individual sections: Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Since Biology is vast and carries most of the weightage, it is advisable to prepare for Chemistry and Physics first, if you are taking one section at a time.

For the physics section , there are 45 questions which carry 180 marks wherein mostly questions are from Electrostatics, Mechanics and Electronics domain. For Chemistry , there will be a total of 45 questions which carry 180 marks, wherein the candidates will get three sections- Organic, Inorganic and Physical.

If you do not want to take one section at a time, you can consider solving the last year’s question papers . These will give insights about the repetitive questions and important topics, and can be beneficial in preparing you for the current year’s exam.

Further, you can also study the sample papers prepared by the experts. Unlike the books, these are more exam specific in nature and can help you in getting acquainted with the question pattern.

Lastly, the advantage of taking a mock test while preparing is that it can reveal the strengths and areas of improvement. Moreover, it will give insights on the appropriateness of the distribution and usage of time.

Covering the syllabus, taking mock tests, solving sample papers etc. are tricks that can help in preparing you for the exam, but the most important factor, determining the outcome, is your approach towards the exam. Don't stress out and carry a positive approach and mindset for better results.

I hope you find this information useful.
