Dear Aspirant,

NEET is definitely not everybody's cup of tea but there is always hope. Firstly, the probability of you cracking NEET depends very much on your 11th and 12th preparation and how much importance you gave to your NCERT books to prepare as they are a very important part of cracking the exam. Secondly, as long as you know the concepts and your base is strong, nothing can shake you from your core as NEET is all about understanding the concepts and applying them. Here are some tips:

  • You have very less time to prepare. Do not waste time anymore. Read your books and understand them to the T. Comprehend what they are trying to tell you and do not miss anything or any part of syllabus. Everything is important.
  • Divide your days by lessons/chapters and not topics. You have to complete one throughly each day. 10 Biology lessons in 10 days, 2 Physics lessons per day- your plan must look something which might look impossible but you need to have the courage to not just make it but pursue it as well.
  • Solve as many practice papers as you can and in the approaching days to the exam, do not touch any books. Just practice mock tests and previous year question papers.
  • Do not think it is impossible but at the same time, do not keep your hopes very high or be overconfident. Know where you stand and you are the only person who can truly assess that position. Listen to someone or something which makes you run for the exam. You will need more motivation than you think, so gather up all the resources for that.
  • Revise NCERT. Make it your goto for everything.
  • Set a goal you want to achieve. Remember: Shoot for moon, even if you fall, you'll be among the stars. If you do not have goal to achieve, there is nothing to work towards.
  • Always start the day with the subject that you find is your weakest. This will help you get less frustrated at the end and the day will gradually decrease its pressure on you.
