How to prepare for neet in subject physics

physics is considered one of the toughest subject for medical aspirants,but very interesting. choose any good book of your convinience, there are plenty of good books as many mentioned already. read the concepts thoroughly,understand them cover to cover, if you have doubts, clear them then and there. solve atleast 300 to 500 questions per chapter, check ,analyse and rectify your mistakes. solve again. the more you solve the merrier.initially you wont be getting many correct answers, but as you keep on doing am sure you will see your score rising. solve previous question papers too, good luck

A good preparation of physics is necessary if one wishes to grab a good rank.

Here is what I did and what was done by the others -

- keep it clear : by this I mean the basics. You *have* to have a good grip on the basics if you wish to be good at it. Learn the formulas thoroughly. There should be no room for even a slight doubt in the basic formulas.



-practice : there is no alternative route. Smart practice is a must. It is when you solve questions but you are making note of the points where you lacked and you are correcting them. That is when one starts to improve.



When you have all the basics clear and are regularly solving mcq's,  you will develop your own techniques so that you can solve the basic questions faster. It will also help in developing the way to approach any question.



Really these two things are enough to become a master in physics.

Make certain that you have a deep understanding of topics such as Spring Force and Energy, Moment of Inertia and Conservation of Angular Momentum, and Satellite motion and Escape speed.



All theformulae of Mechanical Properties of Solids and Fluids and The Laws of Thermodynamicsare to be learnt by heart.



In addition to this, the critical topics are Thermal conduction & Newtons Law of Cooling, Heat engine efficiency increase while sink temperature is lowered, Floating cylinder in SHM, Organ pipes, Sonometer, and Dopplers effect.



Moreover, practice all the questions based onE= -dV/dR, Transformer, and LC oscillations.Develop your proficiency inConcentric charged spheres, Thermal or heating effects of current,  Electrical circuit concepts, Motion of charge in Uniform Magnetic Field, Current, Magnetic field and Dipole moment of circulating charges, Properties of bar magnet and its time period of SHM, Self Induction, Radiation pressure and energy, EM waves, Youngs Double Slit Experiment, and Radioactive Decay Resolving power & Magnification of microscopes and Telescope.



Apart from this,Recoil energy & speed of atom or nuclei when it ejects photons, Atomic spectra (Rydbergs Formula), and Characteristic graph of Photodiodemust also be thoroughly revised in the chapter on Dual Nature.



As the subject is largely based on numerical questions, it is crucial to memorise all the formulae of each and every topic. It is advised to collectively write down formulae in a separate piece of paper and pin it right in front of your desk for frequent perusal.Emphasise on NCERT books and master all the graphs given, especially that of the Semiconductor Electronic.



Solve all the questions given in NCERT textbook and solve a book of previous year questions of AIPMT, AIIMS.
