According to SSC JE 2019 exam pattern, Paper I comprises 200 objective type questions from General Intelligence Reasoning, General Awareness and
Part A (General Engineering – Civil and Structural)/Part B General Engineering (Electrical)/Part C General Engineering (Mechanical).

You must have proper strategy to prepare for the exam. Technical knowledge is required in JEE exam and extra efforts are needed for the preparation of technical section.
Try to have your basic concepts cleared. After preparing any topic, you should solve questions related to that topic. Practice as much questions as you can.
Read newspapers for General Awareness section and stay updated with the current happenings. General Awareness section is very vast. It will consist of questions from History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity and Scientific Research, etc.

You should solve previous  year question papers for practice and give mock tests. It will help you to analyze your preparation also.
