Hi

UPSC, is a 3 staged examination which are listed below :-

*The first stage of the exam is Preliminary examination (objective )

*The second stage, Mains (written).

*If you manage to clear both prelims and mains then you are to go through third stage i.e interview/personality test .

And if you managed to clear all the three rounds mentioned above, then congratulations you may become an ias/ips officer etc depending upon your preference and the rank obtained by you in UPSC civil services examination

Now,

If you are class 12th right now then I won't suggest you to start your preparation for UPSC civil services examination as the syllabus in vast and you  won't be able to concentrate on your class twelfth board examination studies  but class 12th board examination results are very important so that you can get admission in a good college for your graduation, so you can start your preparation for UPSC examination either after graduation or during your graduation.
But yes, as you are a pcmb student , you will have to study the environment topic in your 12th Biology which is in your syllabus of UPSC civil services examination syllabus as well so, you can go well through it

Whenever you start your preparation either during graduation or after graduation you can follow the below tips to prepare well for your UPSC  examination :-
