Hello aspirant,

The CLAT 2023 General Knowledge Syllabus includes questions based on texts about arts and culture, foreign affairs, enduring historical events, and significant contemporary events from India and around the world. Each snippet will be approximately 450 words in length and will be drawn from factual, news, and journalistic sources. CLAT 2023's General Knowledge part is quite difficult, with 35-39 questions costing one mark each.

There are a few things that a candidate should keep in mind while preparing for this section.

Hi there.

The GK portion, like the other sections, is essential for passing the Common Law Admission Test. The test will consist of 150 questions in total, as per the revised CLAT Exam Pattern. 35 to 39 of these questions are taken from the GK section.

The majority of the questions come from current issues rather than static GK, according to the prior analyses. For this reason, it is crucial that you concentrate more on current events if you want to do well in this part.

The majority of the exam's questions will be based on subjects including sports, history, art, and culture, economics, government regulations, novels, geography, awards, local and global events, and organisations.

Make sure to read the newspaper every day.


Make sure to research current events for at least the last one to two years.

Make your own notes; they'll be useful when it comes time to revise.
