Hello,

In order to be eligible for 10+2 TES, you should have minimum 70% marks in PCM in your intermediate examination after which a certain cut off percentage is decided. Students above this cut off are directly called for the Services Selection Board Interview.

The SSB is a test of your personality and checks whther you have it in you to be an officer in the Indian Armed Forces!

There are 15 Officer Like Qualities (OLQs) which one must have to crack the SSB. They are as follows:

• Effective Intelligence.
• Reasoning Ability.
• Power of Expression.
• Self Confidence.
• Determination.
• Organizing Ability.
• Initiative.
• Courage.
• Cooperation.
• Sense of Responsibility.
• Stamina.
• Group Influencing Ability.
• Liveliness.
• Social Adaptability.
• Speed of Decision

The SSB lasts for a duration of 5 days. You are either sent back the first day of the interview or the last day of the interview. If you are recommended on the 5thy day, you will unhdergo medical examination passing which you will have to await for the merit list which is the final approval of you joining the Indian Army as an Engineer!
