Hey Sruti.

The CUCET pattern is very simple, one that has 100 multiple choice questions of total 100 marks. The paper has 2 sections- A and B. The section A is of 25 marks and contains questions from English, General Awareness, Mathatical Aptitude and Analytical Skill. The section B contains questions from your subjects which want to persue your UG in. This section is of 75 marks containing 75 questions of 1 mark each.

Now as you can see clearly, you will have to score better in section B so as to make a good score. For this you will need to focus on your class 12 subjects and try to study them rigorously. Nothing outside your class 12 syllabus will trouble you.

Considering section A, you should be solving questions of english, and logical reasoning. This only can make your score upgrade. There are several books available which might help you like ' CUCET Guide & Practice Workbook'.

Hope this serves your query. Please feel free to respond and ask further questions.

Hey Aakriti. To be on the safe side, I would suggest you to go through the syllabus of both class 11 and 12. A thorough knowledge will do no harm. :)

Yes, you may refer to NCERT books for studying the su jects you had in your +2. For example if you had science then you should have a strong hold in physics, chemistry and maths/biology. If you had commerece then you should have strong hold in accounts, economics, business studies. If you had humanities, you should know the basics of your subjects like psychology, sociology, economics, english, tamil, or whatever your subjects were. Study your school books itself and that must be enough.
