how to preparing for upsc after 12th for science stream

Different people use different approaches to prepare for UPSC and even you haven't mentioned your stream. Anyway i will give your more practical approach which is that you can start reading newspaper ans current affairs, start reading GK, if you are from Educational background having history and economics as your subject then it is good if not then start studying it. Daily provide some time to your entrance exam study. Make notes and also start preparing your notes. Start giving mock tests too and all the best

*Make a routine or a time table and try to give at least 8 hours to studies , keep short breaks of 20 to 25 minutes after every 2 hours
*Read newspaper daily and keep yourself updated with the current affairs
*Choose your optional subject wisely , choose the subject you have interest in.
*Make short notes after completing each chapter
*Revise :- there's no point of preparing for the exam if you couldn't recall anything in the UPSC Examination so you should stress on revision as well.
*Solve previous year question papers and mock test papers ;- You should solve these , it will give you idea of types of questions asked and their difficulty level and will help you a lot.
