Hello , Maryam Sharf

As per your query admission to MBBS course is done through a common entrance test known as National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET ) which is conducted every year by National Testing Agency ( NTA ).

As per the latest announcement made by National Testing Agency ( NTA ), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET ) this year will be organised on 1 August.

Below I am mentioning some important steps to keep in mind :

Step 1: Visit ntaneet.nic.in for filling up the registration process. Fill up  your personal information such as your name, your father's name, your mother's name, your gender, your address, your mobile number, your email etc and complete the general registration process. You need to create your unique password. After the successful registration, you will get your unique registration number.

Step 2 : After filling personal information, now in this step you need to fill NEET question paper answering mode; the language of answering question paper, your choice of exam city and your academic details.

Step 3 : Now you need to upload the scanned copies of your documents such as class 10th marksheet, class 12th marksheet, thumb impression, latest scanned passport size photo with white background and name with date of photography .

Step 4 : In this step you need to pay your NEET exam fees. This exam fees is payable with the means such as Credit card, debit card, Net banking, UPI etc.

Fees for General is 1500 and for OBC Non Creamy Layer/ General EWS is 1400 and rest other is 800.

Step 5 : Take the printout of the confirmation of page of NEET and save this for further assistance.

For getting admission in M.B.B.S in any college in India you need to appear for NEET and you will be provided with a college as per your marks attained in it and the cutoffs. You cannot select college by yourself but you can define your preference and select a college in your Counseling session. Hope this might help you.
