how to remember the sources of vitamins
Answer (1)
Hii Aswini!
Usually (not always) the scientific names of the vitamins are based on their origin or sources. Vitamin A is called Retinol, is good for Retina( eyes ). Now look for examples eating what are good for eyes, such as carrot, spinach etc., Consider vitamin C. It is called ascorbic acid. Acids are sour. What all examples come to your mind which are sour in eating? Citrus fruits such as orange, lemon etc., This way, you can prepare a small chart and notes to remember the sources.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
