Hello,
Here are some tips for you from careers360's to score better in JEE ADVANCED
- Be an early bird- Yes, you read it right. Start as early as possible. Don’t wait till the end. Starting early will give you more time for your revision.
- Prepare study plan- Before proceeding, make your study plan. What needs to be covered first, what are the topics that need more focus etc should be answered while preparing the study plan. Divide the plan in such way that equally time is given to all the subjects and your also left with the time for revision.
- Attempt JEE Advanced 2019 mock test- Authorities will provide a mock test of JEE Advanced 2019 for all the eligible candidates. Attempting mock test will enable you to know your preparation level. Not only these candidates will be able to familiarize with JEE Advanced 2019 exam format (CBT). The mock is the replica of the actual exam, so it will also enable them to learn time management.
- Solve previous year sample paper of JEE Advanced- To boost the preparation level, solving previous sample papers is the right way to go about. JEE Advanced sample papers will enable candidates to get an idea about the questions that can be asked, section-wise weight and more.
- Stay positive- Take the right amount of pressure. We know that JEE Advanced 2019 is big and the pressure of performing is bigger. Still, don’t take unnecessary pressure. Stay positive. Don’t allow negative vibes to affect you. Cracking the entrance exam is not a life and death situation, it’s just an exam. So be positive and take right pressure.
- Take a small break- Don’t just keep on studying. Take small breaks, go for walks, movies or chit chat with your friends. However, ensure that everything you are doing is to rejuvenate yourself, don’t forget studying is your priority right now.

Here’s what you need to do for JEE (Read Full :) ) :
1. Be sincere in your efforts
2. Practice from limited and standard books like HC VERMA, etc. Dont do too many books. Do limited books, and do it more number of times. Become perfect in them.
3. Get a good Guru, if you can find ! Guru is the person who knows what should be done and what should not be done. He/she is the best guide.
4.Focus more on previous year questions of IIT JEE
Chemistry: NCERT most important. Other than that, for reference, use OP Tandon, MS Chouhan, Pradeeps, Morrison and Boyd, Himanshu Pandey, P Bahadur, SN Sanyal etc
Maths: Start with NCERT, RD. Then go ahead with A Das Gupta, MCQ in Maths, and then previous year questions from Arihant 39 years !etc More books of Arihant and GRB can be used if needed.
Physics: Start with HC Verma. Then go ahead with IIT JEE Questions directly. Dont go for any other crap books. However if u have time left after doing previous years, you can solve Irodov, Resnick, Krotov etc ! Also other books from Arihant and GRB are good ..
Practice previous year IIT JEE questions MANY TIMES (You can use Arihant 39 years for that ! ) . Become perfect in them. Solve other people’s doubts. These will help you score better :). People run after so many modules and crap test series. Instead you should focus on limited material and do it more number of times !! Many questions ask only basic concepts but a good clarity in them. Self study is definitely most important. But coaching really helps you score more
Also, I recommend all my students to practice Sudarshan Kriya of the Art of Living. It gives you very good clarity of mind and keeps you focused in exams. In fact Nishita Purohit (AIIMS Rank 1) used to practice it daily !
Mantra: Arise awake and stop not till the goal is reached :) ~Swami Vivekananda
This is what Bruce Lee used to say: I do not fear the man who has practiced 10 thousand kicks once but the one who has practiced 1 kick 10 thousand times ! :) So do limited things and become prefect in them !
Best Wishes :)
