Hi dear,
Hope you are doing well!
Now let's go through your question.
As you will be knowing that its completely fine to have self study as the method of preparation for competitive entrance tests like NEET. Even there are lots of success stories of NEET toppers without coaching.
Now let's go to some tips:
First know the syllabus well(each and every chapter)
Definitely there will be some common topics which you already covered in your board exams so you no need to spend much time on them.
Make a time-table and follow it:
Very well you will be knowing that time table helps you to plan and stick to your study routine. A well created time table that allows you to work on your weaker subjects, allots enough time to revision and mock tests, will ensure all areas are covered.
Accumulate Quality Study Material:(Important)
Spend your money on recommended study material best suited for understanding the concepts and practicing all the topics. But do not buy any and every book that you see(most of the guys do this mistake)
Mock tests is the key for how to prepare for NEET without coaching:
As practice is the prime key for all entrance tests.
Work on weaker topics:
There must be one subject in whom you are strong, you feel more comfortable but there are other subjects where you need to score too. Focus on weaker subject.
And finally be positive:
This one of the other most important aspect(isn't it?)for how to prepare for NEET without coaching of taking any challenge head-on is to be positive.
Remember
Ever Heard this "Health is wealth"
So, do not skip sleeping. Try to take a sleep of 8 hours daily to keep your mind and body refreshed. Also, consume healthy food at proper times daily.
Thank You & All the best!
Hi Suthamathi,
there is no alternative to hard work.
you must keep working on your weak areas regularly and never give up. stay motivated at all times.
practice mock test papers and previous years papers to have a clear insight on the exam pattern and question style.
But the most important rule is to believe in yourself and strive to excel in every topic. start studying and dedicate time to your weak areas. Once you become confident in those areas and tough topics, you will gain more motivation for the exam.
NEVER GIVE UP.
and previous year papers are the best way to prepare. you can study solved papers and memories a few questions which will help.
good luck, hope this helps.
