It is very important to score good marks in GATE and what you are going for is AIR 1. You need to relax, eat well, sleep well and have a lot of faith and confidence in what you are doing. Revise as much as possible. Remember, GATE Question patterns do repeat in all years so make yourself through with Previous year Papers. As they say that practice makes the man perfect, so you also need to practice a lot to crack GATE with a high score.

gate is the competitive exam to get admission in iits , nits, and different prestigious engineering colleges in India. different PSUs have hiring for gate qualified candidates. also some foreign university accept gate score for master of technology admission. the main thing is in gate exam only important and fundamental topics are included in the syllabus. you may know that there is 40+ subjects includes in 4 years b.tech syllabus. but only 10-12 subjects are included in gate syllabus. so first of all try to understand the full syllabus and find out which subjects takes how much score. there is 10 marks if aptitude and around 15 marks of mathematics are included in all stream question paper. and mathematics portion is quite scoring. after giving revision of test gives as much as possible test series. that will enhance your preparation. make a routine and follows it accordingly. for last moment revision make short notes on subject wise.

The only way to get AIR 1 in GATE examine is to study smart as well as hard. In order to do so, you should be clear with the syllabus at first. Go through the syllabus, analyse it, pick up your weaker and stronger portions and start studying. Time is very precious. Utilise each and every second wisely. Follow a strict schedule. While starting a chapter, read the questions asked, first. Then start reading the chapter. Make notes side by side. By this, you will give more attention to the concepts on which questions have been asked. This will save your time.
