You've to get dedicated and focused first of all. You should be hungry of studying more and more with increasing interest and scoring higher and higher. You should analyze the syllabus first then put things in 3 sections - Section A-ha things which you know well

Section B- things that you know but need to revise

Section C- things that you haven't done or don't remember at all..

As per the sections and requirement, go for the preparations. Make a proper plan and schedule. Follow that strictly and try to get honest with yourself. And study more and more and remember quality matters much more than quantity.

Dear Aspirant,

You might be unaware of the fact that from 2020, JEE mains will be of 300 marks unlike previously 360 marks. This year JEE has gone through some pattern changes.

Now there will be 25 Questions in each section implying total 75 questions with +4/-1 marking. So 220 with respect to 360 and with respect to 30 is different thing.

However, to score good marks in JEE, you have to prepare with consistency and dedication irrespective of the format of the paper.

You must clear all of your concepts according to the syllabus and then prepare with dedication and solve questions daily on the concepts you have prepared.

Then once you have read some concept and solved the questions, revise the topic after a couple of weeks. Do this for all the topics and you will get a good rank in JEE.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

Hello Jaspal Sharma.

I think you will be well aware of the fact there are certain changes in JEE mains examination like number of questions and their type as well as maximum marks.

As per this new pattern scoring 229 is a little more difficult but not impossible. You have to practice more and more solve sample papers and join test serieses. Make a proper time table and have confidence in yourself.

You will surely achieve it.

Good luck.
