Hello,

Students who have qualified to write JEE Advanced should be careful in choosing the books for JEE Advanced preparation. They should refer couple of books so that they can understand the concepts well but referring multiple books will make them take more time for understanding the concepts than they have planned. Students should study from NCERT books as the basic concepts are explained well in those books and that will help students to make their foundation strong. There are several other books for JEE Advanced preparation that students can refer for getting an insight into the topics and also practice numerous problems.

JEE Advanced paper pattern is little different from that of JEE Mains paper and thus students have to prepare accordingly. Students should give equal importance to all the three subjects. They should refer the syllabus and paper pattern of the exam to understand and make a proper strategy for giving the exam. This will help them save time during the exam and attempt maximum answers.

Hello dear student,

Greetings!

Follow the following tips:-

  • Revision is one of the most effective ways of learning. Revise as much as you can. Focus on all the concepts you have learned in the past two years and mastered in these days. Questions in JEE-Advanced are more application based; so practice a lot of application-based and conceptual questions, possibly from mixed topics.
  • Stay relaxed, yet focused. Temperament plays a vital role for success in IIT-JEE. Nervousness can decrease performance to such an extent that a student who expects and has the potential to get a top rank in JEE, fails to even qualify
  • If there are a couple of topics where you lag conceptually, your first stop for building concepts should be NCERT books, which are generally easy to follow and mostly error-free.
