Dear Aspirant,
A strategic plan on how to crack JEE Main is important for entry to the top engineering colleges such as the NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. NTA has also announced a new JEE Main 2020 exam pattern, and candidates must prepare for the exam accordingly. National Test Agency conducts JEE Main twice a year-January and April for admission to 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 GFTIS.
To crack JEE Mains 2020, here are some tips:
1) Know the dates and deadlines. Plan it according to the date of the exam and make a schedule which is realistic and can be followed. It should be made according the number of days left and the topics to cover.
2) Understand the JEE Main exam- start with the syllabus, exam pattern and move on to other factors. The syllabus is as follows:

This paper will now consist of 25 questions per segment instead of 30. A total of 25 MCQs for each segment will also consist of five numerical.
3) Manage your time well. Make time for preparation for both JEE Mains and board exams. Try to make a list of topics you want to complete and manage time accordingly for board exams as well.
4) Basic Checks- Start with NCERT books and switch to reference and practice books. This would enable you to clear basics before moving onto complex problems.
5) Previous year Paper Analysis-this is to give a peek into the weighting of subjects-which carry the highest marks and so on. You can find it here:

6) Mock Testing- This is the key to become perfect. Take mock tests and solve previous year papers for better practice and understanding the pattern well!

7) Smart Revision Plans- Before the exams, make revision plans which help you go through the whole thing at once. Make flashcards and notes to make it easier. Remember your crucial points and target them at this time for remembering more.
8) Have a positive frame of mind and don't doubt your preparation. If you think you will be able to persevere and do it, you surely will. Remember that and take care of your health.

There is really less or no time to prepare for January 2020 JEE mains exam. But, revise the basics, by heart the important formulae and go through the important, frequently asked, more weightage carrying subjects from all the subjects.
