How to start career as a fresher advocate in Mumbai? And what wil be the starting salary?

To become an Advocate firstly you need to complete your degree in law. BA LLB is the most common among aspirants today. As an advocate is an expert of law field and a professional of law, candidate require some skills apart from knowledge like:

* good communication skills

* effective writing skills

* sharp mind ( to memorise various law books)

Later, you need to register yourself with BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA. And yes it is mandatory.

Now, I'm sharing here a procedure :

1. CLAT : one need to give CLAT entrance test to get admission in INDIA's reputed law college.

2. Then as i mentioned above you need to complete your degree in law field. And yes of you do internships during your academic then it will be beneficial for you.

3. Now, after completing degree course you need to register yourself with BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA. After successfully registering as an advocate in BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA you can start practice udner senior advocate. .

* At last, AIBE ( ALL INDIA BAR EXAMINATION) after passing this exam conducted by the BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA you will get certificate which ensures that you are eligible to do practice as an advocate in any court.

Now starting salary as an advocate in Mumbai region stands around 12 ~ 15 lakhs differs in range depends upon abilities of person.
