Hello Raj
The NEET examination is one of the most prestitigious examinations of our country. Since you are willing to prepare for it without any external support of coachings( which is great idea indeed),you need to focus on the following points and follow the guidelines-
What comes first is that you should know about what NEET exam consists of. It is of 180 questions, each of 4 marks ( 45- physics, 45- chemistry, 45, botany- 45, zoology-45), the maximum weightage of biology.
TIME MANAGEMENT- Students at home are tend to be distracted due to certain obvious reasons. Make sure you manage our time along with all other activities. Be disciplined.Divide the time according to the subject requirement. Separate out time for practising questions and for revision. Also, don't forget to take out time for yourself.
HARD WORK AND SMART WORK- It is well indeed known that hard work pays well. Focus on your goals and put in equal efforts, don't get overconfident over any topic. Along with this, consider the case where you can smartly work, say knowing exactly how to start with a particular topic, rather than going through multiple books for reference.
Collect your study material before hand. Utilise your free time to search for books and video lectures( A very good source for learning) for the next topic. Refer to various notes, talk to seniors and teachers.
Make your own notes- writing down everything is a good way to learn a topic, it helps you to remember things at a faster pace. Do not just mark down in the textbook and read. Add new points in the notes if you get any, and keep revising them.
Solve different questions. Internet can be used very efficiently here. Make out the best use of it. You'll get a lot of good content here, most of it free of cost. Search for video lectures, solved and unsolved questions, practice papers, and DO NOT forget to solve previous years' exam papers. Also, please do analyse after solving them where you are going wrong and try to avoid that mistake the next time.
Few other points which are usually neglected by students are eating healthy food,be hydrated, taking a lot of nutrients, taking out time for recreation. Play any sport which you like, for it will keep your mind active and energize you. DO NOT give up your hobbies for the sake of studying. Moreover, remember to stay cool, it's just an exam, even if you fail at any point(during practice tests say), do not give up and push yourself ahead, for that will lead to a brighter future ahead.
ALL THE BEST!!
