You should read the each and every chapter  and not just read it but while reading speak the lines which you are reading don't just read and try to understand the meaning of each line . And always makes a summer of the chapter which you read and don't ever cram just read the chapter as a story but read that story in depth and with observing each and every character or element in chapter. And when you stuck in meaning of any word ask your teacher or just google it.
