Hi Rahul,
Well, no one can vouch for that except you. Remember - you are the king of your destiny and the captain of your soul.
The performance in any examination mainly depends on three factors:
The factors keep on decreasing in importance as you go down the list.
The first step is revision. Start revising everything. List down your weak topics and start working on them first. Once all your concepts become good, start solving tougher problems to get better grasp. Revision is even more important in biology.
For examination temperament, start solving papers. It will help you in three ways: it will give you practice, revise concepts, and improve upon your mistakes. You'll get to know about your common mistakes.
The third factor is completely random and you can't help it. Just try to be calm and confident and you'll do fine.
* Do atleast one practise paper each day, it could be previous year paper, mock test anything but do one each day or atleast 5 times each week *
hi rahul, first of all the study hours varies from person to person, their understanding of concepts and convinience, i would suggest you to keep tabs along with whatever is taught in your school, read that topic everyday, cover in a way that it syncs with your school curriculum as well, use weekends to revise and also solve more questions, i would tell you how to prepare ideally
Physics and chemistry- physics is considered one of the toughest subject for medical aspirants, but very interesting. choose any good book of your convinience, there are plenty of good books as many mentioned already. read the concepts thoroughly, understand them cover to cover, if you have doubts, clear them then and there. solve atleast 300 to 500 questions per chapter, check ,analyse and rectify your mistakes. solve again. the more you solve the merrier.initially you wont be getting many correct answers, but as you keep on doing am sure you will see your score rising. solve previous question papers too
Biology- in neet around 300 marks are from ncert text book itself, thats how it was when i gave my exam, so u need to thorough ncert first and then read any good book of your choice and solve as many questions as you canhope this helps good luck buddy
This ebook serves as a valuable study guide for NEET exams, specifically designed to assist students in light of recent changes and the removal of certain topics from the NEET exam.
Since instead.of how many hours to be studied you should emphasize on what and how to study look for NEET examination you should study on the basis of the weightage of marks for each subject look biology have the maximum weight in NEET examination so you are going to be well versed in it than study for physics and chemistry.
Dear aspirant,
There is no hard and fast rule about the number of hours that you need to study for neet. Basically it will vary from person to person depending on various factors. But the first and foremost thing while preparing for neet is building up concepts. So study ncert thoroughly and after that practice mcqs based on the same.
Wishing you good luck!
It is not about number of hours because how much you have learnt in those hours is important so better to devote your maximum time in your preparation as there is no ideal time and in case you are giving only 1 hour then try to utilize that time efficiently and effectively. I hope you are getting my point and apart from this, below I am providing few tips which you can follow -
Know the syllabus - The first thing which you need to know is the complete syllabus and accordingly prepare. Important topics- Physics – Optics, Mechanics, Nuclear Physics, Thermodynamics, Chemistry – General Organic Chemistry, Mole Concept, Periodic Table, Coordination Chemistry, Chemical Bonding. Biology – Genetics, Ecology Environment, Cell Biology, Morphology, Basics of Biotechnology, Reproduction, Physiology of Animals Plants. Good Study Material - The most important element to prepare for any exam is good study materials as better to choose the standard preparation material.
Create a time table as per your schedule - Get a calendar and a diary, set your priorities, set out long study hours. Take care of your health. Don’t sleep during study time.
Practice NEET sample papers and previous year’s question paper - All NEET aspirants should do practice on sample and previous years papers as these would be helping them to know the important questions.
Prepare notes - The best way to improve memory skills is to prepare notes while studying. Candidates should write down all the important notes in a copy or diary which can be useful for revision before the examination and save a lot of time for them.
Online mocks - It would be better if you complete your syllabus till December and keep Jan-Feb for your sample papers and previous year papers and once you are done with these, start doing online mocks because these will be showing you all your weak areas along with actual paper pattern and accordingly you can practice again and this will also teach you time management skill during exam.
