Hello Prakhar,

Being a btech student in 2nd year i can guide you better.just follow these steps for better results

1.Cover all chapters of different subjects of each semester.

2.concentrate on important and scoring topics of each chapter

3.previous papers are most important for getting an idea how to prepare

4.make notes,and study for 2-3 hours daily

Hello,

The first year in college is not that tough and you can easily pass the exams with very little effort. Just follow whatever books have been told about by the teacher and prepare according to the notes. Most teachers give questions from those particular books only. For knowledge purpose you can do NPTEL lectures but it won't help in getting good marks in exams which can be done only by following professors.
