Hello Farhan,
I am sure that you must have prepared some really good notes about the topics already. But, I would like to share some tricks with you that are general in nature, but can help in a good way to improve the memory.
1. Speak out loud instead of just reading
Although this may make you seem a bit crazy, try it! You will be surprised how much you can remember when you said it out loud.
2. Show what you have learned
The best way to test if you really understand something is to try to show it to someone else. If you can not make someone listen to you and explain the plant kingdom, animal kingdom or evolution, why not just test yourself in front of a mirror?
3. Create mental associations
The ability to make connections is not only an easier way to remember information, but it is the fuel of creativity and intelligence.
Mind Maps are an easy way to connect ideas by creating an overview of the different connections.
Think about the flow charts!
4. Draw diagrams
Drawing diagrams will help you visualize information that would be difficult to describe. This creates a visual memory in your mind that you can remember in an exam.
Think of drawing a plant for plant kingdom, or an animal for animal kingdom. You don't need to be perfect with your drawing, just be little bit creative.
5. Times New Roman is the fastest source to read
In short, there is a reason why Times New Roman is the default source in most applications.
You can print out the flow chart, maybe in Times New Roman. Do give it a try.
6. Watch a documentary on the subject
Documentaries are an entertaining way to compact a complete story in a short period of time. This will help you remember the key details of a story and you can get additional credit for mentioning that you took the initiative and saw a movie about it!
- Plant Kingdom documentary - The discovery Channel
- David Attenborough's kingdoms of plants
- Animal Kingdom - Barcroft
- Evolution - The Evolution of Humans Documentary 2014
- The Evolution of Humans - Biology for All by FuseSchool
All of these documentaries are available on Youtube.
The chapters you have mentioned are more of a theoretical type,in these type of chapters you just have to learn so make sure you make a short notes for these chapters and go through them daily.it is the only way you will remember the chapters as there are no concept in it.Try to make tricks to learn it for example- most of the students get confused in torpedo and trygon, that which one is electic ray and which one is sting ray so here you can identify that in torpedo and electric ray there is 'e' common while in trygon and sting ray there is 'g' common.i hope this information helps you.
Thank you
