How to take admission in chandigarh university?

Chandigarh University is a private institute established in the year 2012. It offers various courses in UG,PG and doctoral levels.

RANKING:

• It is accreditated AAA by NAAC.
• Ranked 16th among top private engineering colleges of Inida by THE OUTLOOK.

MODE OF ADMISSION:

• For all UG courses like B.E.,B.Pharm,B.Arch, BBA, B.Sc, B.Com,BPT etc the university conducts an entrance examination called as CUSAT (Chandigarh University Scholarship Admission Test).
• JEE Main qualified candidate is also eligible.
• Valid JEE MAIN PAPER II score/ NATA score are also eligible for B.Arch.
• GATE qualified candidates are eligible for M.E.
• CAT/MAT/CU SAT candidates can apply for MBA programs.

The application is available in both online and offline modes.

IMPORTANT DATES:

UG COURSES:

• End of registration: 18 April 2019.
• Exam date: 1st May to 30th June 2019.
• Result date: 5th July 2019.

PG COURSES:

• End of registration: 20th July 2019
• Exam date: 24th July 2019
• Result date: 30th July 2019

CUSAT PATTERN:

• It is a 120 minute test.
• It consists of 90 questions of objective type.
• There is no negative marking.
• Admission is subject to a 60% weightage to CUSAT score and 40% to 12th boards.
• FOR B.E., the test consists of physics (25 questions), chemistry(25 questions), mathematics (30 questions)and english (10 questions)subjects.
