How to take admission in DU FOR BTECH?
DU does offer B.Tech course. CIC (cluster innovation center) and NSIT are the two offering B.Tech. CIC offers B.Tech in only one domain i.e. IT & MI while NSIT offers in almost all. CIC has its own entrance exam and NSIT take admission on the basis of JEE mains.
Admissions to Delhi University in B.Tech courses are purely based on a candidates performance in JEE Main 2018 and marks scored in Class 12 or any equivalent board examination. Based on the score in JEE Main 2018 and candidates marks in class 12, a separate Delhi University rank list will be published by the University and the admission process will be taken place according to these rank list.
Rank list will be published only for those candidates who fulfill their eligibility in terms of age and marks for different engineering branches.
The admissions to specific courses will be preceded by the registration process. The students will be asked to pay the registration fee prescribed by the University which is RS 500 per course for students in general category and RS 250 for candidates coming under SC / ST /OBC or any other minority groups. Then, after the payment of the registration fee, the candidates will be called to the university for the registration cum document verification process. the students must carry their relevant or original documents to prove their eligibility and caste certificates to enjoy caste benefits in fees.
