In Himachal Pradesh few government colleges are present. And there are different government colleges like Science college, arts and commerce College, engineering college, law college etc.

So if you want to join Science, arts or commerce college then mainly this colleges are taking admission by merit list. Your 12th marks are matter for admission. You have to apply there college through their application form it will be offline or online. If you are getting admission in government professional colleges then the entrance examination you have to given it will be JEE Mains or clat or state entrance examination. Then after qualifying the examination you will get chance to admission government college.
