Dear student,
You need to do nothing to take a drop. You just don't have to take admission in any college to take a drop. Taking a drop for jee means sitting back for one year and preparing for jee only without enrolling yourself in any other college. You don't have tk do anything, just begin your preparation fir jee now and study hard as you are investing a year of your life for jee. However students also take partial drop which means prepare for jee while being in first year of their college.
