Greetings,

Abhinaw as you have not mentioned from which field you belong but I am assuming that you took science as your bio states that you want to be an engineer. So being a science student myself I would suggest you to make time table from the very first day.

If you think you are weak in any subject join tuitions and study regularly . Buy books such as RD and RS etc for extra reference. And take them into consideration the most because extra knowledge will help you score more in boards and it will have previous year question papers which can help you because there are times when the questions get repeated .

Take NCERT book seriously and read each and every concept carefully and then refer to extra books. Solve question papers . If you will regular study and are efficient in managing everything then only you can score marks . If you are unable to understand any concept , watch YOUTUBE videos of various lectures coming online and explaining different topics in a simplified way.

If you are determined to do engineering then do join some coaching classes for the preparation of JEE and various other exams . I have seen many students who have got the required marks to pass the eligibility criteria of these entrance exam and got good scores in JEE and got good colleges . Even if you could not get good scores in  the JEE ADVANCED but did good in JEE MAINS then also there are various good and reputed engineering colleges which accept its scores. There should an accurate balance that you should focus more on JEE and a little less on board up to the level that you can clear the eligibility criteria.

I hope it helps. For further information do drop a comment or post another question.

Hi Abhinaw

This is Ritika

Hope you are doing well.I will not give a big lecture on this just I will say hard work is mantra of success. But for getting good marks you can do hard work with smartness.

1.Question of last 15or 10 year should be solved and you should focus more on topics which asked in last years

2.Devote equal time to every subject,do revision.

3.Give regular test and point out the mistake and try not to repeat it again.

Hope my answer helped you

Good luck.

Hello!

You can follow these steps:

1) if you're also preparing for entrance exams, make a habit to read your class 11-12 textbook chapters first before moving on to MCQs.

2) numericals are easiest to make marks and lose too! So do make a point to solve all the numericals in your textbooks at least once, methodically and in an elaborated way.

3) presentation! Have a neet and clean writing. Use pencil to highlight points in answers.

4) don't start studying at the 11th hour! It's okay if you don't study a lot every day, just be consistent, take small steps.

5) solve timed mock papers, join a test series if you've time for it.

6) remember, your entrance exams are more important so focus on that first.

Best of luck :)
