If you are a fresher right out of College, you may have 3-4 rounds. First round will be the introductory round where you will be asked to talk about yourself, your Education path other things like where do you see yourself in 5 years, so on and so forth. The 2nd round will be a HR round, where they might ask you for subject related questions. You should be able to answer these questions to move to the 2nd round. Here you might be asked even Technical questions regarding the subjects that you have studied. The 3rd round is a Manager round which also might be semi technical and more of Operational round. The last round again is a HR round for salary negotiations. So it is important to have good communication skills, technical knowledge of the subjects that you studied. It is also good to know about the company that you are giving an interview for. If you can prepare on these topics, cracking an interview is not difficult.
