For the past five years including 2021, with ‘Get-Ready-for-Top-Management' focus the PGPX programme is consistently ranked among top-5 in the world on Financial Times Career Progression category. The 'Indian Ranking 2020', prepared by MHRD's National Institutional Ranking Framwork (NIRF), rated IIM Ahmedabad as the first "Best Managment Institute" in India.

The placement process of the PGPX programme is carried out by the PGPX student placement committee. The student committee carries out a rigorous job-search and application process, with active support from the placement office at IIMA.
