NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Its very easy to crack neet u jst only have to clear ur bases of class 11 properly after that u can easily complete class 12 and similarly neets complete all lines and words of cert text book for biology and chemistry don't even leave a word and for phsics just clear the process and solve paper u well deffidefin clear the neet
hi sanchita, you still have 5 months time and if you work smart, you can really score well easily,so dont worry, stay calm cool and confident, i will tell you how to prepare for aiims first
Physics and chemistry- physics is considered one of the toughest subject for medical aspirants, but very interesting. choose any good book of your convinience, there are plenty of good books as many mentioned already. read the concepts thoroughly, understand them cover to cover, if you have doubts, clear them then and there. solve atleast 300 to 500 questions per chapter, check ,analyse and rectify your mistakes. solve again. the more you solve the merrier.initially you wont be getting many correct answers, but as you keep on doing am sure you will see your score rising. solve previous question papers too
Biology-aiims doesnt cover most part from ncert like how neet does, in neet around 300 marks are from ncert text book itself, so u need to thorough ncert first and then read any good book of your choice and solve as many questions as you can
General knowledge and current affairs- read newspapers regularly, keep yourself updated always, use year books, they ll help you alot.
and when it comes to NEET, you wont have gk and the weightage of biology will be high , so thorough ncert biology first, good luck.
Practice mcqs from any good book which has previous year question papers.
Work on time management.
All the best!
Maintain consistency in your efforts. Bouts of hardwork one day and doing absolutely nothing the next day will not give satisfactory results. Make a realistic schedule and most importantly follow it.
Seek help from your mentors if you've joined a coaching institution for the same. There is no appropriate day for getting your doubts clarified. As soon as you get one make it a point to seek help from people who can guide you.
Most importantly gave faith in your abilities.
Hi Sanchita Rai
Here are the way how you can start studying smartly for NEET & AIIMS
- Introspect yourself :- make a checklist that what you know already and what you have to know for the NEET. Go through the syllabus once and check your level, that from where you have to start.
- Plan the Journey :- After Introspecting, Start from the very basic and plan out the journey for the whole syllabus a set some deadline for yourself so that you can progress in a pre defined manner.
- Never Give Up :- It is the golden rule to achieve the goal. Build up yourself and your confidence not to give up even in the hardest situation. THink positive, talk to positive people, ask queries, make mistakes and learn from all these things. Stand by your decision and motivate yourself time to time.
Here are Some GOLDEN tips for the preparation of NEET & AIIMS
- Firstly, gather all the details about the officially prescribed syllabus for the examination.
- Make a proper time-table for your preparations.
- Follow the time table strictly and increase your potential day by day.
- Consider the good preparation books and study materials.
- Practice mock test & previous year question papers.
- Make mistakes while practising, and correct them and never repeat them.
- Never give up even at your low time.
- Stay stress free & healthy while preparing for exams.
- Don’t try to include new topics at the end of preparations.
All the best
The first thing you need to forget is that you are an average student
No student is really good bad or average , analysis is made just depending on the situation
If you want a mistress of writing typically structured long questions or flourishing theorems in your boards paper that does not make you a bad student
At the same time if you are a must Rio at solving MCQ in an examination that does not make you an exceptional student
Every examination is a separate entity you have to start from the fragment to emerge in flying colours
First thing do not in for AIIMS or Neet
Do not seem to be better than someone else
Aim to be better than what people can expect of you in any examination
Getting undergraduate chance in AIIMS doesn't make you better than a student who is studying in Calcutta Medical College
Completing your undergraduate course from sskm Medical College does not make you inferior to a Jipmer student
What your priority should be is primarily to make the most of what you have
If you are in the habit of making notes, all the subjects physics chemistry and Biology should be made into compact notes in different copies from which you can refer to before your examination
Since you say your resources are Limited as to memorizing aspects, it would be best that you try to master the concepts and mechanics, optics, inductance and capacitance the kids along with electromagnetism in current electricity because these are the aspects of Physics which are difficult to master at the last moment
Send the bulk of questions in medical papers comes from organic chemistry in chemistry you need to be well versed with the mechanism and reaction sequences and be able to derive the products and answer the questions correctly
Since Biology is the most important part of it I would specially recommend you to practice questions of specific proformas like which of the following are all except from domains of Botany zoology animal physiology biotechnology and microbiology, because these lives cycles a very tricky and difficult to master at the last moment
Coming to physical chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry comedy approach of physical chemistry is quite similar to Physics and Inorganic metallurgical Chemistry just helps to score some additional marks as compared to others to give you an extra edge above them
The primary basics of scoring well in any MCQ examination is unlimited amount of practice in the form of time bomb work examinations which expose you to a mixed bag of questions from different arenas across all the three subjects
Where you will be able to form your priorities, able to analyse what your weaknesses are and work upon them before the proper examination
I would recommend that you complete your biology and Chemistry within the first one and a half hour and dedicate the rest of the time to Physics because usually under the pressure of memorizing so many things medical students attend to lag behind in concepts of Physics
Thank you
The only strategy tocrack AIIMS / NEET is hardwork.
Study the concepts in depth, don't read superficially.
Try to clock 100 hours a week.
Maintain your health
Sleep is crucial, else you'll get exhausted before time.
Form a study group, discuss with friends
Stay motivated.
No pain no gain, you won't get this opportunity again. Make the most of it.
Donot waste time, invest time.
Revisions are the most important
It is said that hand written notes are well remembered than printed material, make your own notes, keep reading it again and again.
The best books you can refer to are the NCERT,
For biology, refer the following.
1) Trueman's Biology vol 1 and vol 2
2) Dinesh- Objective biology
3) Pradeep publication Biology
4) GRB'S Publication Biology.
For Physics refer to he following books.
1) H.C.Verma - Concepts of Physics.
2) D.C Pandey - Objective Physics.
3) Fundamentals of physics by Walker
4) Problems in Physics by I.E.Irodov
For chemistry you can refer the following books
1) O.P Tandon - Physical Chemistry
2) Morrison and Boyd - Organic Chemistry
3) Modern ABC's of chemistry
4) J.D.Lee Inorganic chemistry
5) Dinesh
Ncerts are mandatory to have, refer the rest of the books and find out which one suits you. I would advice you not to buy all the books but to refer them and see which one is better for you.
In the end it doesn't depend upon which book is better but how good can you understand the concepts
Also, for the general knowledge subscribe magazines, they will be useful.
Hope this helps.
Goodluck
Hey Sanchita,
It is correctly said by APJ Abdul
Kalam
-
Dream is
not
the thing
you see in sleep
but is that thing that doesn't let
you sleep
. Dream bigger and everyday live with your dream.
Preparation Strategy:
1) Have a Time - Table : It will help you maintain consistency.
2) Solve sample question papers on Biology: will make you familiar with the exam pattern
3) Practice regularly: The only thing that differentiates between an average aspirant and a topper.
4) Keep time to revise your notes - this will help you retain till the final day.
5) Give time bound mocks!
I hope this will help you.
All the Best :)
Most important for NEET/AIIMS is your NCERT books as these books include basic principles and concepts and provide accurate information.
BUT KEEP IN MIND YOU HAVE TO CLEAR ENTRANCE YOU ARE NOT DOING PhD so dont go by all books mentioned here and there
KEEP NCERT + ONE REFERNCE BOOK + MAXIMUM MCQS PRACTICE = Medical SEAT IS YOUR.
To crack neet Some strategies that you should inherit to boost your performance
1. Make you own time table , Shorter and achievable small targets.
2. Focus on limited books - NCERT + Some reference
3.Finish your full syllabus n a fixed time frame.
4. Solve MCQS daily in a time limit - Understand where you are doing most mistakes, Correct it, retry
5.Whatever you study throughout the day make sure that you revise before going to the bed
6.Concentrate More on weaker subject
7.Give equal important to all the three subjects.
8.Understand all options of previous year MCQS ...As EXACT question is not repeated BUT related questions are....
9.Give mock test in between to assess yourself.
10. Have patience and be positive
11.POSITIVE SURROUDING - Discuss with friends who can help you stay positive not the one who brings negativity.
12.Correct your mistakes
13.Maintain your health
Don't think about the result. Be cool and devise a strategy for solving the paper, like which subject to attend first, what time is to be given for each subject, rough work to be done with pencil, leaving doubted questions initially, etc.
Above points will definitely help you
