Dear Student,
We would like to inform that JEE Mains is not enough for getting admission into IITs though you may get entry into NITs through the examination. To be eligible for any of the IITs, you need to clear JEE-Advanced as well. So you would first need to qualify for JEE Advanced.
Thank you.
Hello Ajay
Absolutely not. By clearing Mains you are ELIGIBLE to appear for Advanced. And in that you need to be in first 10k or so to get a seat in IIT. JEE mains allows admission to NITs
Nope….Jee Mains is just the screening test for JEE Advanced.. there will be a cutoff mark in Jee mains test which would be considered as the eligibility to sit in Jee Advanced exam….For Admission to IITS,only JEE ADVANCED marks will be considered
hello ajay,
the admission procedure in the IIT will be through examination conducted by some of IITs as it changes by year
if one wants to get into IIT
firstly they want qualify in the JEE-MAIN examination
and then they should apply for JEE-ADVANCE
in the ADVANCE examination they have to score more to get in best IITs
all the best
Hi Ajay,
I'm really sorry to say this but no one can apply to have an admission in an IIT for B.tech degree through just JEE mains. To be eligible to take admission in an IIT, you have to crack JEE advanced exam also with a minimum of 75% marks in your 12th with PCM as primary subjects.
You may go for NITs and GFTIs, if you have qualified JEE mains with a good rank.
I hope I was able to clear your doubts
Thank you
