how will be engineering counselling like after my 12th.i need steps about counselling .how will it be their.what and all i need for it.i want to know complete process of it.help out plz.

You have not specified any entrance exam but the counselling procedure will be more or less the same here is the brief process of engineering couselling

1. Registration : Once if you qualify in any Engineering entrance exam you will be eligible to participate in the counselling.Registration dates will be announced and candidates who are in the merit list released by the concerned authorities can register by giving their details and make payment.
2. Document Verification: Once the registration is done candidates have to attend document verification with the required documents such as class 10, 12 certificate, admit card, score card, domicile certificate etc.Once the verification is done on the specified dates candidates have to opt for colleges online.In few counselling process document verification is conducted at the time of reporting in the college.
3. Choice filling: After document verification candidates have to fill their choices online.The choices have to be filled based on preferences.You can fill as many colleges and branches you want but make sure that you are interested in that course and college.You need to lock your choices after filling them.
4. Seat Allotment: Candidates who have successfully locked their choices will be allotted seat based on merit and their preferences.If the candidates is satisfied they can accept the seat and report to the college within the given time carrying the documents and make payment of fee.If they are not satisfied with the seat they can participate in the further rounds of counselling.
5. Reporting to the college: As said earlier if the document verification has not taken place it will be done when you report to the allotted college.If all the documents are in proper order you will get admission and you have to make the fee payment.

There will be some minor changes in the counselling process but this is how counselling will be held.
