How will be the AI at nit surarthkal which is launched in this year?How will be salaries?can we get equal placements with cs students?

Considering nit surathkal its a good college with good average placements so a person getting admission here is already in a good space .Now talking about AI branch so one should understand that it is already a computer science branch with specialization in artificial intelligence so the pay packages should be at par with raw cs students and occasionally even better as AI is the future and slowly demand for AI candidates is bound to increase.
