Computer Society of India (CSI) is not a course. It is a student branch. Computer Society of India is the first and the largest body of computer professionals in India. The Computer Society of India is a non-profit professional body which facilitates exchanging views & information and, sharing ideas. The members are committed to the advancement of theory and practice of Computer Engineering and Technology Systems, Science and Engineering, Information Processing and related Arts and Sciences.
CSI Student Branch at CVR College of Engineering was started on November 9 th , 2015. It endeavors to offer technical, educational and professional advantages for students by arranging and organizing guest lectures, workshops, technical quizzes and, knowledge sharing sessions on recent trends and techniques in the area of Computer Science.

Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) is the B.Tech program offered in CVR College of Engineering. The new course brings the best of both CSE and IT together providing CSIT graduates more opportunities than the graduates of CSE and IT courses.The college provides a good opportunity on some multinational companies with a good package, and we will be able to get the company's response in a short period. The highest salary package was 24 LPA. The minimum salary package was 3.5 LPA. Almost 85% of students got job offers. The college is an autonomous college with the affiliation of JNTUH, also having the NBA/NAAC accreditations. The curriculum is standard with professional faculty in our college. The faculty and management are helpful in the time of need. The fee structure is also reasonable. Overall, this course at this college is a good choice.
