Jee main July 2022 second attempt is also going to be the same as the first attempt. The pattern and marking scheme will remain the same as before.

A total number of 90 questions will be provided.

Students have to answer 75 questions among 90 questions.

The paper will be divided into three sections with 30-30 questions each.

Each section will have 20 MCQ and 10 integer-type questions, you have to answer only 5 questions out of 10 in the integer-type questions.

Negative marking will apply for every incorrectly attempted question.
Now, if we talk about the difficulty level then it will remain the same as before. Few shifts might get a difficult paper but most of them will get a moderate paper.
The students described the difficulty of the paper like this.
Most difficult/ lengthy:- Maths
Moderate/ ncert based Que:- Chemistry
Easy/formula-based Que:- physics.
Note: Prepare harder because the difficulty level of the paper will remain the same but the preparation level of students will rise, which will eventually raise the competition.
