Hey,
Being in a Society provides you with exposure and that's pretty much the point of being in a society in the first place. It's different if you end up becoming the president or some core member that looks good in your CV.
Mostly,It will boost your confidence for sure so I guess indirectly it will be helpful in job aspects and may open other options for you.
