IPU has started conducting it's counselling sessions for candidates seeking admissions into the university's UG law programmes from June 18, 2019 onwards.As per the official notification, the university will no longer be conducting IPU CET law 2019 and will select candidates on the basis of CLAT scores. The university will be holding three rounds of the counselling session for the candidates who will be applying for its five year integrated law programmes. The selected candidates, who manage to secure a position in IPU CET Law merit list 2019, will get a call for counselling of IPU CET Law 2019. To get a position in the rank list, the candidates will have to go through an entrance test conducted by GGSIPU for the candidates aspiring an admission in its five year law programmes. After the release of IPU CET Law 2019 result and securing a place in IPU CET Law merit list 2019, the candidates will be shortlisted for the counseling of IPU CET Law 2019 and release a list of shortlisted candidates that can join the counseling session.
