The admission criteria is either entrance based on a merit list generated by college or an entrance exam .

For getting seat for BA course eligibility is to have secured  minimum 50% marks in std xii.

For BA ( hons) eligibility is to have secured minimum 55% and in some universities such as Delhi University minimum % is 60% from any recognized university. Though it depends on merit for different subjects.
