M S Ramaiah Institute of Management is known to provide special training programme for placement which is embedded in its course.

With every year, this college has improved its  placement, pay package, average package and percentage of students finally placed.

Placement report for the session 2015-17 has shown a great improvement too as compared to previous years, with about 106 companies participating in the final placements season, 50% of which have the been the old, loyal and consistent recruiters and 50% new recruiters which is a symbol of good performance over the previous years. There have been a total of 343 students who participated in the final placements and the total number of students finally placed is 98%.

However certain sources claim that 95% of the total students have been placed yet.

Highest CTC that was offered was 14 lpa,  average CTC was around 4.5 lpa and a growth of 6.6% has been observed in the average CTC as compared to the previous year.

44% of the total offers were made in the sales and marketing domain whereas 32% was made in the field of finance. 14% and 10% offers were made in operations and HR respectively.

Some of the top companies that come for recruiting were  Amazon, Marico, Mahindra Finance, Madura coats, LG electronics, Oracle, Reliance, etc.
