hy i am up jaat . can i apply for ews certification in central level examination ? as up jaat is obc under stategov and genral under central gov ? please clarify this

Hi Gunjan,
I understand that you belong to the state of Uttar Pradesh and also belong to the category of Jat which has been given the status of OBC under the respective state governments and now to answer your question, you are eligible to apply for OBC reservation status only within your state, i.e., the state of Uttar Pradesh and not elsewhere as Jats were not included in the Central Government's list of OBC castes by the Government of India.
