I ahve applied for JEE main 2021. IF I quit the exam, will it be counted as one attempt?

Hi Varun!

No, it will not be considered as an attempt. Only if you attend the JEE Main exam in person, it counts! There, you'll be checked based on your Proof of Identity. If everything matches good, then you'll be asked to sign for verification or something like an attendance sheet. Then you have to attend the exam. Only then this will be considered as an attempt! Your number of attempts will also be reduced if you quit from an eligible exam. You have 3 attempts in consecutive 3 years from the year of your 12th passing. So, if you loose one attempt by quiting, then you'll have only 2 more attempts left!
