Dear Pavan, there are few Categories in which you can make changes to your application but Department in your B.Tech is not one of them. You can make changes to Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, PWD, Dyslexia and Learning Disabilites, Parents Details and Correspondence address, College name, Roll number, Exam Paper and Exam city. GATE 2020 Application Correction in candidates application forms will be started from 4 th week of October 2019. The window will allow you to change your details of qualification also.

However, they'll not allow you to change the stream of your graduation. I suggest you should contact to the authorities and bring the matter under their concern.
